Andrew Hershfield

I fell for photography in the eighth grade. Shooting images and developing film in the darkroom gave me a sense of freedom, of being and expressing myself. I think of the camera as my third eye, letting me share how I see and perceive the world.

In my senior year at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I am turning my passion into a profession: Hershography.

I shoot my photos with my grandfather’s Nikon N6006 film camera, a Nikon F65 film camera, and a Nikon Z6II. I am also shooting large format with a Canham 4x5 and a Deardorff V8 FS 8X10 camera.

I am excited to show you the world through my lens, especially bringing the outdoors in through my landscape images.
